Information Technology
In IT, the number of people in the office changes by the day. Teams rotate, project deadlines move and campuses fill unevenly. A fixed transport plan struggles to keep up.
In brief
Zooper helps IT organisations plan commute capacity around actual attendance, then run and review it as one programme across the commute options they offer.
How it works
- 01
Read the attendance pattern.
Capture office days, locations, shift timings and late-working needs.
- 02
Set the rules.
Define who is eligible for which option, and what approvals apply.
- 03
Match capacity to the day.
Group compatible demand and size vehicles and seats to who's actually travelling.
- 04
Run the journey.
Give employees, drivers and transport teams live visibility, with exceptions handled by clear owners.
- 05
Review and adjust.
Use completed trip records to refine routes and capacity.
In depth
The IT problem
Hybrid schedules, tech-park congestion and late-hour project work can make transport a daily planning task. Fixed routes may run half full one day and fall short the next.
What to understand first
Who travels on which days, where they start from, and which timings are fixed. Separate the rules that apply everywhere from those that vary by campus or team.
How Zooper can help
Zooper connects demand, routing, capacity and exception handling in one operating model, so the programme follows attendance instead of fighting it. Shared options and parking can sit alongside company transport where they're part of the programme.
What needs confirming
Availability, integrations, safety controls and commercial responsibilities are confirmed during solution design. Proof for IT customers is published only with current evidence and approval.
Questions and answers
Our clients audit our vendors' security. Will a transport platform pass that review?
It should be treated like any other vendor that holds employee data, because it is one. Zooper runs on AWS, encrypts data, uses role-based access and has been penetration tested. Your security team can review this through your usual vendor assessment.
What employee data does a transport platform hold, and who can see it?
Names, pickup locations, shift times and trip history. That's sensitive, so access is limited by role: an admin sees their site, a driver sees only the trip they're assigned to, and your central team sees what it's been given access to.
Can Zooper connect with our HR and identity systems?
Most IT companies want transport to follow their employee records, not a separate list. Zooper can take roster and employee data from your systems, and supports single sign-on so employees use the login they already have.
Our return-to-office policy changes attendance every week. How does transport keep up?
Fixed routes built for a full office run half empty on quieter days. Zooper plans each day from confirmed demand. If someone cancels before the cut-off, the route and even the vehicle size can change, so you're not paying for seats nobody needs.
We compete hard for engineers. Does the commute really affect retention?
It's one of the first things people notice about a workplace, every single day. A ride that turns up on time, with live tracking and a clear ETA in the app, takes a daily frustration away. Zooper also gives you trip and feedback data, so you can spot problems before they turn into complaints, or resignations.
