Banking

Banks work across head offices, operations centres and branches, often with early and late shifts and strict governance. A commute programme is held to the same standard as everything else: clear rules, clear owners, clear records.

In brief

Zooper configures commute workflows around a bank's approved policies and keeps a traceable record of every journey, exception and approval.

How it works

  1. 01

    Map the sites and shifts.

Include head offices, operations centres, branches and any critical or off-hours shifts.

  2. 02

Write the policy into the system.

Eligibility, approvals, safety protocols and escalation paths.

  3. 03

    Plan within those rules.

Organise demand, routes and professional fleet supply by site.

  4. 04

    Operate with oversight.

Give transport, security and admin teams role-based visibility and defined responsibilities.

  5. 05

    Keep the evidence.

Maintain trip, exception and billing records for review and audit.

In depth

  1. The banking problem

Governed environments need policies that are actually followed, responsibilities that are defined and records that stand up to review. Spreadsheet-led coordination makes that hard across sites.

  2. What to understand first

Which policies are fixed bank-wide, which vary by site or role, and who signs off exceptions. Also what the security, risk and vendor-governance teams need to see.

  3. How Zooper can help

Zooper makes policy executable: configurable controls, role-based access, live visibility, maker-checker billing and reporting in one place.

  4. What needs confirming

Integrations, security scope, certifications to be cited and commercial responsibilities are confirmed during solution design, and before any public claim. Proof for banking customers is published only with current evidence and approval.

Questions and answers

Banking regulators expect us to oversee every outsourced service. How does a transport vendor fit into that?

Employee transport is an outsourced service like any other, and regulators expect the bank to stay in control of it. Zooper gives you live visibility of every trip, a record of every exception, and compliance tracking for every driver and vehicle. Your outsourcing and third-party risk teams can see how the service runs, not just read a contract.

Where is our employees' data stored?

Zooper runs on AWS. Many banks have to know the hosting region to meet data-location rules, and that can be confirmed for your deployment.

How does transport fit into our business continuity plan?

Floods, strikes and city shutdowns hit the commute first, and treasury, payments and operations centres can't simply stop. When conditions change, routes can be re-planned and your transport team sees every vehicle live, so you know who's stuck, who's safe and who can make it in.

Can internal and external auditors trace every trip and every bill?

Yes. Each trip records who travelled, the vehicle, the driver, timings and any exceptions. Billing goes through maker-checker approval against those completed trips, so an auditor can follow a payment back to the journeys behind it.

How are drivers vetted before they carry bank staff?

Zooper tracks each driver's licence and documents, and each vehicle's fitness records. Fleet operators get reminders before anything expires, and lapsed drivers or vehicles are blocked until a valid copy comes in. Background checks are agreed with you and the fleet partner as part of the contract.
